Awesome Kids Day 2016: Born to Thrive

Burien, Kids

You were born to thrive – and we want to celebrate that with you!

That’s why we invite you to join us for the 3rd Annual Awesome Kids Day. This community-wide event is a collaborative effort to make healthy living fun for kids and to encourage them to eat, move and think well. And it all happens in a way that is fun and applicable for young kids!

What’s the story behind Awesome Kids Day?

When you look at a problem, like something you see that’s wrong with the world, you look at it as a global, national or state phenomenon, and it becomes very intimidating to do anything about it.

But when you zoom all the way into your community, you start to see lots of ways to make change. At Collins Chiropractic, most of what we’re motivated by is trying to make Burien, Washington the healthiest community on Earth. And if you want to make any kind of positive change, the best way to start is with kids.

Watch the video below to hear why we started this awesome day of fun for our local community.

Learn More About Awesome Kids Day

This annual event is hosted by Collins Chiropractic and sponsored by health-centered businesses in the Highline and West Seattle area – including chiropractors, nutritionists, mental health counselors, and organic food vendors – who all believe that reaching kids and teaching them to eat, think and move WELL from an early age will change the way our youth think about their health and their contribution to the world.
