AWESOME: It takes “Me” and “We.”

A patient came in the other day with a really cool shirt. It read:

WITHOUT ME, IT WOULD JUST BE  AWESO

Too true.

I thought for one second more and realized something else.
Without “we,” it would just be “asome.”

Apparently awesome requires both me and we.

To take it one step further, what if having a deep sense of community, a profound “we,” can ultimately lift and empower each and every “me?”

If it’s just me, it’s not awesome. If it’s just we, it’s not awesome. An abundance of awe occurs when the singular and the plural unite in harmonious creativity and collaboration. For it to be awesome, it takes both me and we.
